We will continually strive to ensure that your child's preschool memories are those of warmth, laughter, and happiness.
Exploring Spanish (ages 2-5)
Explorando en Espanol
Preschool is the perfect age to learn a language. Young children find it easy to do and it’s what young kids do naturally. Their brains are wired to do it! We are very excited about our Spanish Program, where your little ones will be learning Spanish in a very fun, nurturing and musical environment. Through structured and spontaneous activities, they'll develop fine and gross motor skills, learning math concepts, social awareness, language and literacy in Spanish!
Music Together is based on the recognition that all children are musical and can learn together in a fun and interactive way. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in all musical activities. Music Together adds instruments to your little ones lives for some fun and creative sounds.

Fitness Fun Preschool exercise classes help develop self esteem and positive associations with exercise, healthy eating and rest.
Smartboard: (ages 3 & up)
Hatch Inc. TeachSmart® Learning System, an interactive, hands-on technology tool which enables early childhood teachers to plan for playful and purposeful activities for children. This tool offers strategies and activities that reflect the latest scientific research for pre-literacy and mathematics concept acquisition in young children. We have added this system for use of our 3 and older classrooms as well as our afterschool care children.
Computers: (ages 2 & up)
Because computer knowledge is vital in our society today, the earlier children begin to use the computer, the better. By the preschool years, most children are spending time on computers at school and/or at home.
Studies have shown that children who use computers from an early age have several advantages. Computer classes are taught in most kindergarten and elementary schools, so preschoolers who are already familiar with the operation of the keyboard and mouse will be ahead of the learning curve. They may also have an advantage if they have the opportunity to play with educational programs, as many learn reading and number skills from computer software.
Some experts suggest that allowing preschoolers to have computer time can be beneficial because computer use:
- Introduces educational skills
- Teaches spatial and logical skills
- Prepares children for future computer use
- Increases self-esteem and self-confidence
- Boosts problem-solving skills
- Stimulates language comprehension
- Improves long-term memory and manual dexterity
Storytime: (All ages)
Story time plays an important role in introducing children to the magic of books. Through stories, children can visit people in different lands, fight fire-breathing dragons to save a royal princess, or learn how to build something.
Although Story Time takes place in the everyday classroom, coming to library is an exciting time to hear a story and interact through play, flannel boards and puppets.
